Review: Table Table Mums eat free!

On Sunday Jamie, Jake and I went out for Sunday dinner with Jamie’s Parents. We went to our local Table Table restaurant to utilise the Table Table offer of “mums eat free”.

To use this offer you need to go to a Table Table restaurant after 2pm on a Sunday, You need to have printed off and filled in a voucher prior to going, which we had. Just to be doubly sure we also phoned in advance to make a reservation telling the duty manager that we would be using the offer and checked with him that both mine and Jamie’s mums meal would be free – we’re both mothers after all!

The small print that goes with the offer is that each mum must also be accompanied by another full paying adult. If you order off the normal menu then only the main course is free, but if you order off the Sunday set menu then however many courses your other half has, the mum can have the same for free.

We chose to eat the full free courses off the Sunday menu as this offered the best value for money (gotta watch the pennies after moving house) the three courses cost £11.99 per person, which means we paid £11.99 for both of us to have three courses! Result!

Jamie had prawn cocktail to start and I had breaded mushrooms, then we both had a roast pork Sunday dinner. For pudding I had an ice cream Sunday and Jamie had apple crumble. All of the food was fresh and tasty and the serving size’s were generous and no different to the serving size given when you order off the normal menu or without an offer.

We both had a couple of drinks to go with our meal so in total the bill for Jamie and I came to £18 but I still think this is fantastic value for money!

In terms of taking Jake with us the team at Table Table we’re very accommodating. There was a high chair ready for us on arrival, and the team were very helpful with Jake’s bottle and baby food. If the offer continues we’ll certainly go back again!
